That was one of the scariest opens ever compared to the 1930 black & white intros which was a lot scarier. I remember when WPIX-TV in New York City was the "Tom & Jerry" station they had the MGM intro where they put the words "Cartoon" on that intro. A lot of people usually had nightmares about the logo. The second logo was scary than the intros to the Tom & Jerry and Tex Avery cartoons.
