it was quite a dark cartoon from what i remember... did one of them die?

there was a magazine series that accompanied the series too,... the first one came with a video... was amazing haha

It was on at weird times in the UK so I never got to watch much of it. Still enjoyed it though. It's a travesty that the series isn't not on DVD yet.
