Brian Keith went on to appear with no less than Burt Reynolds in hit movie "Sharky's Machine",(as "Papa" before reverting back to TV with "Harcastle and McCormick"in the 80s. Tragically, he took his own life at the age of 75, unable to come to terms with his daughter's death.
