Like all the other posters on this thread, I also was in love with Valerie. This show was pretty funny until the last season which was kind of lame. I also liked Schneiders bizarre sense of humor.

This is one of the shows I watched mainly because it had an attractive female castmember. In this case, Valerie Bertinelli, of course.

I wanted to be Valerie too; especially when she married Eddie Van Halen.

all i can say is wow .. i was in love val...an the show was some times funny ....

Ironically, I just saw Valerie Bertinelli the other day in a Jenny commercial. She is now trim and more beautiful than she has ever been. GOOD FOR HER!

I so wanted to be Valerie Bertnelli when I was growing up...not now though, she got fat and had to call Jenny and I'm still thin and trim. LOL

I always hated this show. Every man was depicted as being either an idiot, lazy or dishonest. Cagney & Lacey was the same way.
