Bit late for the cartoon query, but the answer would be Gloworms, the show was based on the squeezy toys.

I am looking for the name of a cartoon that was on fun factory just a few times. It had little plump fairies that were like lightning bugs. At the beginning of the show they sang this beautiful song without words and flew to the woods and flew in a circle or something. There was also a giant caterpillar or worm or something. It is so hard to remember. I need the name because I need to find the beginning song...help.
