    kenwh, yes, Random appeared on "Happy Days" but the episode ("Chachi Sells His Soul";) aired a week AFTER "Out of the Blue" debuted. Robin Williams appeared in the "Out of the Blue" pilot, but as himself, not as Mork. Both were crossovers, capitalizing on the success of those shows in an attempt to boost ratings for this one. Doesn't make it a spin-off.

    Last I heard, Jimmy Brogan was the entertainment coordinator for The Tonight Show.

    I saw Jimmy Brogan at a comedy club here in Houston Feb '07, and he was just the opening act. Sad really that he never went anywhere, becouse he was pretty funny.

    Ouf Of The Blue was an official Happy Days spin-off because the character appeared prior to the debut of OOTB. This is why Mork appeared on the pilot episode. If I recall right, Random was in an episode where Fonzie was dreaming and something about the Devil.
