This was a good show. Yes, the animation doesn't compare to some of the stuff today. But since it was animated, they weren't limited by the special effects technology that existed when the original live-action series was made.

Sadly Star Trek the Animated Series didn't get the respect that it deserves. It was a good series & way different than the original live action version including having new crew members from the Entrprise that were not part of the live action version.

This is good but I forgot how stiff the animation was compared to animation now.

DVD already released! I just got my copy of it on November 22. And I have good news about what's at the end: The 1969 version of the Paramount TV "Split Rectangle" logo (with the show's music finishing out over it) is at the end on all 22 episodes.
