No it isn't. It's based upon the Universal Monsters like Dracula, Frankenstein, The Wolf Man, etc.

Meanwhile, I bought the DVD for just $3 last January. Unfortunately, it's just the first 7 episodes. The other 6 have yet to be released onto DVD.

Well, from what I remember of this show, the science guy is the one who was inflicted with the wolfman curse, as well as the fact that they had the frankenstein monster on their team. The female on the team had reddish hair, and was somewhat telepathic, as she was the only one who could keep the frankenstein monster somewhat calm. She also was the only person I could remember that had a flight pack, which was a set of gold wings that folded out. Hope this helps!
