      I liked Battle of the planets, but this must be shown on tv again, This incarnation not the editted one.

        The kid on the far right in the picture looks almost exactly like Satoshi (Ash) from Poketto Monsuta (Pokemon). He has that red hat, blue shirt, and jeans, almost exactly like Ash's outfit, plus he has red suspenders like Kasumi (Misty), too! Hmm... maybe Ash is actually a ripoff of this show?

          Wow...I'm glad I decided to check this page out! I did a search for "Battle of the Planets" and was disappointed that nothing came up. Cartoon Network also released a version of this show...but Battle of the Planets remains one of my favorite toons ever. I used to watch it everyday afterschool in the late 70's.
