I still remember it too the last time I saw it on channel 7 when I was young. Too bad, it lasted just one season. They added a "Match-Up!" round determines who plays with a contestant to choose a celebrity. The final round goes to the Super Match, just the 1973 version along with the 1990 version of the Star Wheel, just like the 1978 version. I love that sound effect where a Star Wheel came down to the stage. Russ Shafer was not a great host to the show. In 1989 Bert Convy was originally schedule to host the revived "Match Game", he was ill. It was replaced by Russ Shafer. I saw it frequently on GSN. If you love "Match GAme", stick it with the 1973-82 version on GSN. Gene Rayburn was the best host of the show. Stay away from the 1990 version.
