I will never forget seeing Black Christmas (called Stranger in the House) on HBO back in the eighties and it scared the hell out of me. I couldn't get the killer's creepy voice out of my head. This proves that a movie does not need buckets of gore to be scary. The atmosphere just sinks into your flesh like cold fingers. Very disturbing especially that one victim that is up in the attic in the rocking chair. I am myseld the creeps now.

I WANNA SEE THIS SO BAD!!! I watched the trailer earlier this month and it kinda scared me, ya know good for one sleepless night. Trailers normally don't do that to me. So if the trailer did that then this movie had better make me sweat until I get goosebumps. XD

great canadian classic.I was going through an old year book from my old school and was surprised to see Margot Kidder went there as a kid.Interesting is all.

This is truly a great movie, and very influential. Apparently the "killer in the house w/the phone" was done earlier in "Silent Night, Bloody Night," which was a very scary (and bloodthirsty) little shocker. See that if you can!

For "Black Christmas," it is a classic. The director said that the killer's identity can be found by listening to the movie's soundtrack carefully (really?!). In any event, make sure you check out a fan's site: www.itsmebilly.com. The guy who started the site, "Dan," did the interviews found on the DVD. The remake is awful.

Who ever added this movie here gave the twist ending.

I went by that remake.

Bad idea MAN!

I haven't bothered to see the remake to this yet. I saw the original on video when I was little and it scared me half to death.

This is a GREAT little film that should be more well-known than it is. I always thought that this trailer gave a bit too much away though.

Sadly, there's talk of remake, though it's not surprising with all of the remakes these days.

This is a very good horror movie. The killer's calls are very crazy and creepy.

It IS scary! Otherwise I wouldn't have posted it along with the trailer.
