Yeah I hope it comes to DVD. Hopefully Shout factory will release it like they did with: Super Mario Bros Super Show, Captain N, Sonic SatAM, and The Legend of Zelda.

I think I know why this show is not airing today. Because this was a so-so show. According to tv.com it got a 5.8 out of 10 which is mediocre. That is so sad I'm ready to cry.

I don't really think you should use that picture from transformers CDs on that site, because people would get excited thinking that it's an official DVD boxset

PS: That picture is from transformerscds.com which is a website that is selling 2 hour long episodes (I might get it someday).

blueluigi - The Space Ace DVD is the game, not the show. The game was an interactive cartoon along the same lines as Dragon's Lair (and by the same people).

although I don't recall ever watching this show or even remember it, I know as a fact that it wasn't as good Captian N.

I think I'm too young to have seen this show, but it looks kinda cool. Great music, too.

Somebody search for the Saturday Supercade Season 2 titles (1985-86, with Kangaroo, and Space Ace) immediately!!
blueluigi Posted 8 years 9 months ago
Oh wait, Space Ace was released on DVD. Today I saw a Space Ace DVD at Suncoast and I realized that Space Ace aired as a part of Supercade.
blueluigi Posted 8 years 9 months ago
The Saturday Supercade DVD of the Donkey Kong Country DVD? If it's the Saturday Supercade DVD the only one I saw on e-bay is the Transformerscds supercade DVD. If it's the Donkey Kong Country DVDs the only ones I saw on e-bay is the DVD from the UK and the DVD from Australia. And as for the DKC post a few days ago I was posting a post on the DKC page but didn't post and it was a pretty long one, but yes I will post info about e-mule and the DKC episodes just keep your pants on.

OK LavaDiddyKong first of all, Saturday Supercade was never offically relased on DVD, the image on there is actually from the Transformercds Supercade DVD which is not an offical DVD (though they do have a good DVD menu). Here is a link to it.

    www.transformerscds.com/ frames/supercade.htm

Second e-mule doesn't have any supercade episodes, just a few bumpers.

And Third of all if you go to this link
    http://www.myspleen.net/details.php?id=2384

you could download the torrent of CBS Saturday Mornings 1984 which contains two hours of CBS Saturday Morning including Saturday Supercade as well as The Charlie Brown and Snoopy show and Dungons and Dragons.

FINALLY, I've been searching forever for the Donkey Kong Jr. intro, I already had the other supercade intros except for the Donkey Kong Jr. one.

That brings back a lot of memories. CBS ran the "Saturday Supercade" during the 1983-84 season. I used to love that show when I was a kid. Nice opening theme along with a collection of openings to "Q-Bert", "Donkey Kong Jr.", "Donkey Kong" and "Frogger". It ended with credits music and the Ruby-Spears logo. Ruby-Spears was a production company that produces their animated series like "Thundarr the Barbarian", "Heatcliff & Marmaduke", "Alvin & the Chipmunks", "Police Academy", "Plastic Man" and others all produced by the same company next to their sister company Hanna-Barbera. Both companies are owned by TAFT at the time. TAFT was the company that made TV and radio broadcasting for example KQV was a top 40 station in Pittsburgh, PA owned by TAFT, the company that purchased Hanna-Barbera, Ruby-Spears and Worldvision.TAFT also bought Bing Crosby Productions which became BCP before it vanished years later. Sadly Ruby-Spears went out of business in the early 90's after TAFT was sold. I missed the good old Ruby-Spears shows.
