    Wow. I didn't know Richard Pryor had his own TV show... musta been a gas... I've heard his tapes and own four of the movies he was in.

    I started plying the sax because of this show, i guess this is also where learned it is ok to steal.

    Back in those days allot of blue humored comedians were going the G rated way Steve Martin(some of his material was dirty), Robin Williams, Lilly Tomlin, even Cheech and Chongs well at least Cheech were toning down. But the biggest shock to me was flipping through the channels and seeing an animated cartoon show featuring the rock group the Mentors on NBC which didn't last long I guess someone at NBC actually heard their lyrics.

    I remeber this show. I used to watch it on saturdays. It used to come on after dungeons and dragons.

    I never knew that Richard Pryor once had his OWN kids sho with, "Pryor's Place" as did Paul Reubens with, "Pee Wee's Playhouse"! The intro for this sounds kind of sad...
