Great show, I waited for this show every week. We would talk about the swat episode at school the next day, it was a very popular show amongst kids in the 70's. I loved the theme song and when the van pulled up in the beginning and the S.W.A.T. came on the screen I was ready to be entertained.

Ok, iremember their nams being Street, Hondo, Deek, TJ? and what was the name of the other guy?

When the opening theme song kicked in, me and my brothers would get so amped up!!!!!! ...we were always pretending to be "S.W.A.T" as kids ...Man I MISS the 70's something awful, but I'm glad my childhood years were in the 70's, a great time to be young

As a child of the year 1975; me and my mother used to watch this show, Cannon and Barnaby Jones. We used to watch all of the shows in during that time. I wish they send the rest of the espiodes out on dvds because I got the first 13 or 15 shows on dvds when they came out on dvds.

Theme songs were so cool then. Now if they even bother it about 15 seconds of crap.(geez I sound like my dad now..lol)

This show was a huge hit. No one even knew what a SWAT team was before this show. I took piano lessons at the time, bought the sheet music and played the theme at one of my piano recitals!

LL Cool J was in the movie and he used the sample of the old shows theme in his 80's song-I'm Bad.
