I remember the episode where Sandy Duncan's character finds a porn tape that had become stuck in the family's VCR. I do not remember too much else about that episode, but one movie voice-over that Sandy Duncan did do was Vixey in "The Fox and The Hound" by Disney in 1981.

I used to watch this show, yet I cannot really remember anything about it or any specific episodes. Yet another ubiquitous 80s sitcom.

The theme song to Valerie/Valerie's Family/The Hogan Family is called "Through the Years" and it's sung by Roberta Flack of "Killing Me Softly" fame.

Screw who came and went on the show! It was still funny. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this song.. umm... did i mention that I LOVE this song? lol. I watched it just for the theme song. Where are all the cheesy theme songs today? *sigh* Good TV ALWAYS has a theme song lol-- maybe that's why shows today blow...

Ya know for being on prime time tv for so long, I don't remember this show.

This was the best show ever made it showed the world all different types of family problems a mother leaving and having another family member move in to help it was a great show I hope it comes on DVD soon

I love this show, me and my grandma used to watch this when it was on NBC in the late 80s, and when I saw it come back to ABC Family Channel, I was so happy to see it again. This show was so funny.

I remember this show. I used to watch it sometimes when I was about 6 back in the early 90s. I thought that it was kind of weird, but it DID have its funny moments. I don't remember the characters that much, however.
