I've always loved the episode where Drysdale takes the Clampetts to a skeet range. Jed and Jethro were using rifles...and never missed! By the time the show made the transition to color, the plots kind of got a little out there, but I guess the writers had nowhere else to go after a certain point. Still a classic, though.

i have true life relatives i grew up with who were not far off from these characters..as a child Jed reminded me of uncle Tatum

I was flipping channels and I saw some of a Beverly Hillbillies episode.The episode was named "army game" and an army guy says that Jed's fortune is worth 60 million dollars.

I love this show. I have several episodes on tapes. I wish Nick at Nite and TV Land would air it again.

An old classic. I still remember that civil war reinactment with the capture of Grant. Jethro with a tank, and some others. Fun show to watch.
I was into old shows first watched this in 1996.
