Ha ha ha! I saw this cartoon a couple of years ago on an old videotape and lauged at the fact that it was 1994. They must have been taping that show around Queens in 1994...

ok so ookla is chewies usless cousin, thundar hs he-man with a light saber, and the princess.....

Ookla the Mok really DOES look like the cartoon version of Chewbacca....AND I agree with you, Juicyjes about "Thundarr Meets He-Man" everyone would b confused; think of Thundarr being from a parallel universe to He-Man

they should create a show called when thundarr meets he-man. everyone will be confused.

I still love this show. Thundarr ROCK! Although you can tell it was a little influenced by Star Wars, I don't care. It was still a well done show. Ookla was a lovable character, and Thundarr version of a Wookie. Ariel was one hot woman and the smart one in the group. Always loved her witty comments. Wish they would put this show on DVD

actually it may have been about 10 minutes long

I loved the concept of Thundarr, and i loved how they always showed a monument or something recgonizable from the 20th century as it was 2000 years in the future, and i loved the idea of sorcery coming back and all, it was a great show, even though it was only about 15 minutes long, but i remember them playing several episides per saturday.

I remember this cartoon and you can sometimes see it even now. I watched it, but Thundarr always appeared to me like a wanna-be He-Man with a wanna-be lightsaber. It wasn't a bad cartoon, though.
