One of my earliest anime, following Sailor Moon, DBZ, and Cardcaptor Sakura I love this anime very much!

Oh does this bring back some great childhood memories, that with entire Toonami. I loved Ryo-Ohki, Ryoko, Mihoshi, Sasami, little Washu, and Tenchi!

Oh yeah one of my favorite anime shows got every series and all the movies and complete seasons to this show.funny how tenchi lived in a house with nothing but females and never really nailed one haha

Ahh...I remember watching this 10 years ago, long before it came to toonami and they edited it. One of my top ten favorite animes. MEMORIES...

Anime is theeeeeeeeeee best!!!

When I was 9-10 I used to watch this at night on CN. I loved this show so much (even though I didn't quite know what was going on) that I named my first beta fish Tenchi, and after that, my second hampster Ryoko, and my third Ryoki. I also named my first email address (Away from AOL) 'animecabbit'.

Awww.. memories! I always used to look forward to watching this show on Toonami when it aired. I love Sasami and I always thought Ryoko/Tenchi was the best couple. Now I only had the first three edited tapes. -sniffle-

I own the first two episodes of this on tape. It is a recording, so it has commercials from that time. Like the alien coke ad, that electric toothbrush, ETC.

Damn I miss Tenchi....good shows always are the first to get bumped for some other garbage.

This was one of my favorite shows. I loved Washu! She's my favorite characters. I still read the manga. It was always funny when Ryoko and Ayaka fought over Tenchi.

Wow, I haven't seen Tenchi in years. I really did enjoy this series. Ryoko and Mihoshi are my absolute favorites. ^_^

My least favorite is Aeka. She's a tad bit annoying, imo. ^^

The intro used here, is "The Ballad of Ryo-ohki" and this is the OAV's opening, which pretty much started teh series (animation wise). I actually prefer Tenchi Muyo! TV (Tenchi Universe) to Shin Tenchi Muyo (Tenchi in Tokyo) and No Need for Tenchi (OAV).

ooook back track here ppl. I have never seen this is my life but i would be willing to bet my first born son and all the money i will ever earn that i have heard the intro. Can anyone by any chance in hell tell me where i just may have recognized this theme? any one? man this is goin to drive me nuts now and get stuck in my head to the point where im singing it in school. Please some one give me a hint, i know i have heard it. And by the way, i can tell by just looking at the pic that it is a whimsical and goofy anime.

Ah yes loved this show. Washu, Sasami, and Ryo-ohki were my favorite chracters. I liked Ryoko too. Thouhg it got on my nerves when She and Ayeka would fight constanly over Tenchi.

This show was okay, but a bit annoying. I guess it's due to the fact that the characters act so retarded all the time.
