I actually still have a handful of the transformer toys from this in a box in the closet.

And they were doing such a great job with Beast Wars....

beast machines was the bomb

the way they transformed sucked (esp, rattrap)...
i like they way the vehicons transformed, i hated how they changed the alliance of some of the maximals, rhinox was such a great maximal...
the last episode was alright though...

so all the predicons except for megatron are dead along with several maximals right?

I didn't like this show either. Some people do like it because it's darker and more cyberpunk-ish. Yet, I didn't like it because almost all the characters were changed into someone I didn't like. The appeal of their specific personalities was gone and replaced by something else. Optimus Primal turned into some sort of monk-like messiahnic figure (or "Jesus Prime" if you will). Rattrap lost all his confidence. Cheetor became second-in-command and also a serious jerk. Silverbolt became an emotionally scarred, angry cynic (and that hurt, because I loved his former "gallant knight" persona). Heck, they made Blackarachnia nicer. One of the main thing people liked was her "bad-girl" personality, and they go and make her nicer. I won't even go into the whole thing with Rhinox being made evil.

man beast wars theme song is also way better,and what ever happend to airazor and tigertron did they die along with the predecons before returning to cybertron

I missed most of this show because it came on at the same time as Batman Beyond.

1999-2000 ..... no wonder I barely remember it... never had time to watch it but I thought the toy of Jetstream or whatever was awesome
