The photo above I used to have not one but two autographed copies. One I actually taped to the top of my school desk. The teacher did not seem to mind. The other copy is long lost. What a dummy. I loved the show and couldn't wait for each episode. I passed on the Ben Stiller/ Own Wilson interpretation. Snoop Dogg as Huggy Bear. No, no, no.

Watched this show every week as a kid and loved every episode. I actually cried when this show as cancelled in the late 70's. Starsky was my favorite but I also liked Hutch, Huggy Bear and their always angry captain. The intro theme song was cool and who could forget the Ford Gran Torino with the white stripe. There was good writing in this show mixed with action, suspense and comedy. This kind of hip cop show is something you just can't find anymore. The redone movie had a few funny parts but overall it pretty much sucked. It was cool to see Paul Michael Glazier and David Soul make apperances in the move though.

Starsky & Hutch was and still is my favourite detective series, with its colourful characters, loaded on action drama, some comic relief and of course that cool car to boot. They don't make them like that anymore, I mean both the car and the series.
