I loved that theme too! It was actually based on, I believe, an Acapella song called Hojack-

Think those were the lyrics. And not sure about the spelling of Hojack.

I remember watching this cartoon. It always felt wierd being able to see him from the waist down. This was back when Saturday cartoons were something to look forward to.

Oh my God!! I used to love that show. I really loved the intro. I remembered being a little sad, because I knew what happened to all his family and friends from watching the live action show. I played that theme song at least twenty times before I stopped. Great memories. Wish I could be a kid again.

Oh man! I remember this show in my country it was aired in sundays if I remember well.

Couldn't agree more, Celeste. After this great series, Saturdays just weren't the same. I can't remember another American animated series with more continuity and actual quality in animation than this one.

I disagree this is one of the best intros I ever heard. Those fools whoever they were were singing their A$$es off! Nobody does intros to cartoons like that anymore. The show sucked without question, but the only reason I would tune in would be to catch the song. Then I would promptly change to something else.

Not if you were growing up in the 80s. I looked forward to watching ALF the Animated Series every Saturday morning and now Saturday mornings is a former shell of itself.

Yup that's the Boomerang logo. The reason for that is because ALF aired on Boomerang UK.

Man Nightime we see ALF's life on Earth and on Saturday we see Gordon's life on Melmak ! I wouldn't have any other way! oh BTW is that a Boomerang logo on the Intro?

Nice Doo wop tune for the intro. I remember watching this series too, but sadly, I don't remember him working as a fighter pilot.

I downloaded one episode from a torrent on myspleen. I also used the video file to upload the intro.

The episode I downloaded is the one where Gordon was asked to watch the kids over the weekend. But through out the trouble he's been through, their house gets taken away. So Gordon and his Family must get it back. So anyway, enjoy the intro.
