I LOVED this show!!! I would always mention it when talking about favorite TV shows of childhood with friends... but no one believed me that there was a puppet version of Winnie the Pooh!

I miss this show. Love Hal Smith doing the voice of Pooh before Jim Cummings stepped in for other Winnie the Pooh projects. You guys think Laurie Main made a great narrator?

I wore out my local video shops copies of this show in the late 80s and early 90s... I loved the christmas special... lol hearing the theme song brings back memories... Mum would always sing it to me... I had quite an obsession with poohbear when I was little... the first book I ever read was Winnie the Pooh and Tigger too... Thanks to A.A. Milne and Disney for all the good memories... But come on who the heck names their creation something that could be misconstrued as excrement lmao XD Great show

I remember this show I remember the one called "Too Smart for Strangers." and the episode with a marching band.
    cannibalholocaust77 Posted 7 years 2 months ago
Nightmarish! This was a creepy ass show same with Dumbo's Circus. Those shows were responsible for 1 nightmare too many. This came out when i was like 5 or 6 and i don't think i've recovered. Even at 30 i still cringe. The french intro is twice as creepy.

I soo remember this. My brother is 4 years younger so it was mainly on for him but I enjoyed this more than the Dumbo's Circus one. I remember that the voice of Pooh always bothered me.
funkkid Posted 8 years 8 months ago
oh my gosh so many memories
cartoonfreak Posted 8 years 8 months ago
    man I just found this on a video along with dumbo's circus and the new adventures of whinnie the pooh, wow it's amazing looking back at how television has changed over the past seven years it's like after spongebob came along the rest of television died. (sheds a tear while humming the tune to stairway to heaven) );

Such a cute show. How can you not love that old guy who narrates the show (also known as the storyteller)?

This was back in the day when Family Channel had good tv shows. :)
ducky Posted 8 years 10 months ago
Wow... watching the intro to this show brought make so many memories!
meelind Posted 8 years 10 months ago
Remember the songs with Eeyore singing about continuing on in the race? And Rabbit singing "try a little something new. Try a little something different...." with the magic tricks? Yup I enjoyed this show when I was very young.
    kimsy520 Posted 8 years 11 months ago

    Phantasmagoria_3D Posted 9 years 2 months ago
They used to show us a "Welcome to Pooh Corner" vid. about riding the school bus when I was in kindergarten. That's how I first knew about this program. That Roo animatronic used in this is kinda scary!
DieYuppieScum Posted 9 years 2 months ago

pokinsmot Posted 9 years 2 months ago
