I lived in Honolulu for several years and always thought this show was the best portrayal of life there....more than other shows with Hawaii as a backdrop.
Also, I loved Wo Fat...so charmingly eeeeviiilll!! Did you know that he wasn't remotely Asian in ancestry??...lol. He was born Kenneth Dickerson and was Anglo-Egyptian-Sudanese. Very educated, too. Author. My fave movie he was in was "Seconds" with Rock Hudson.
