I remember watching this once or twice when I was four years old, didn't remember the name and I dreamed about it a couple of times. My dream was the transformation sequence, and one day I was determined to at least find the name of the show and I stumbled upon this website. I managed to find all the episodes but the quality sucks. Also I read up on why they canceled this show and I think the reason it was canceled really really sucks. They canceled it cause the people behind the go-bots which I think wasn't that great, they sewed the Orbots people because they said that they copied their name and and the show was a copy of their show. ORBOTS IS NOTHING LIKE go-bots, and Mighty Orbots would of been as great as Voltron or Transformers but those lousy go-bots people spoiled everything for them they really suck!

I found a place that has ALL of the episodes online: Veoh. Look up "Veoh", then look up Mighty Orbots.

I have a link to the search results on my messageboard, in the Galactic Patrol Theater.

Not sure, but you may have to download the Veoh player to see them. But as you can play all kinds of videos on it, even YouTube and Google, it's worth it.

There are some episodes up on both YouTube and GUBA. I have put them up in my Mighty Orbots messageboard: http://mightyorbotsfan.free-forums.org/index.php?sid=83016cf72c32dca614b16119bbfc920d

They are under the forum, "Galactic Patrol Theater". The ones from YouTube are embeded, but the ones from GUBA are just links. I couldn't embed them like I could the ones from YouTube.

If you join my Mighty Orbots messageboard, please put "RetroJunk" in the Location box, so I know that it's one of you.

This was one of my big shows (I've always had a thing for robots).

There are a few episodes on YouTube, and some on Guba.

mewcat201: I have a copy that was made some time ago by transformerscds.com. It's not bad, although a few episodes have image lags (the images stop, but the audio goes on). It's better than nothing, though.

You wrote some Orbots fanfiction? I'd like to read it. I have a few up at fanfiction.net. (Come to think of it, except for the one titled, "Hearts of Gold, Hearts of Steel", I've written ALL the Mighty Orbots fanfiction at fanfiction.net.)

I forgot to add I did fanfiction on this show too!
'Battle of the Planets' was the first show, 'Pandamonium' was the second and 'Orbots' was my third. And at the time I didn't know what I was doing was Fanfiction! Go figure!

I, TOO, LOVED THIS SHOW. THE ROBOT WAS SO COOL THAT I WISHED THEY WOULD OF MADE ONE LIKE IT. I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT SOME EPISODES CAN BE BOUGHT ON EBAY.

"On", if you had been 10 years old when this show premiered, you would have been addicted to it. I've had this theme song stuck in my head ever since 1984.
I understand the show was canceled due to litigation with the makers of the far-inferior "GoBots". (Man, GoBots were lame!) Along with "Transformers", "Robotech" and "Voltron", I think "Mighty Orbots" was one of the best robot-themed shows on television, ever! The animation was amazing for its time.

I always liked this theme song.

Thanks for the oh-so insightful commentary. So how does it feel to be wrong?

This show amazed me when I was a child. The characters would shoot energy beams that didn't just go straight like lasers but swirl and dance around like lightning. And the technology seemed to be a mix of science and magic.

    (Spoiler:)
What stunned me was when they killed off the main villian at the end of the final episode. I just stared at the screen in disbelief when I saw it.

This show attempted to combine two distinct cultural story devices, the Scooby Doo style gang of heroes from America, and the combining super robot from Japan. The end result was visually stunning but not nearly as good as it could have been otherwise.

I remember watching this show once, the premiere episode, but unfortunatly, a week later, Muppet Babies started in the same time slot, and I watched it instead.

I remember, vividly, running along side the television with Rob Simmons (the creator of the orbots) and “transforming” into the sleeker more dynamic hero…while smashing into a pile of pillows. Oh man. My girlfriend’s brother and I are on a warpath looking for its complete series. Oh well. One day.

I meant what the hell is this^ :P

What the hell is? Where the hell was I? Oh nevermind...I was 2 years old...Decent animation and concept on the machines being the characters rather being just set of tools to destroy stuff.
