    To Baboons /They have it on DVD at amazon.com and 72 full episodes at Hulu.com/ Subscribe For Retro TV or if you have it not knowing so, go to RTV.com and look up your local channel. Mine is channel 22. I love this show and i am only 10! I want to be A firefighter paramedic when i grow up.I also watch Adam-12,dragnet and MASH. I got a squad 51 t-shirt just today at cafe press.com

    Watched the repeats shown in the early 80's (southern CA)
    I remember all the accidents and what not seeming so real.

    I grew up watching Emergency. I got real upset if I had to miss a epsoide. I miss these kinds of shows.
    they don't make shows like these any more. I wish
    tv-Land would put Emergency on again.

    If it weren't for Emergency, I would be unemployed right now. I watched it growing up and loved it so much that I became a Paramedic. Thanks Roy and Johnny!!

    Actually, the original Squad 51 is not in the Smithsonian, but in the Los Angeles County Fire Museum, in one of their storage warehouses, and only shown to the public twice during the week.

    I honestly can't say enough about this show. It shares the title with "Magnum P.I." as my favorite show of all time. For the record, Season 3 is now out as well!

    i grew up watching EMERGENCY, and because of that, i now have a police and fire scanner of my own, which is very active in my home town, thanks to the crew of station 51
