The reason why it says 1999 was that the show was revived after a four year hiatus.

It was overall better than R.L. Stine Goosebumps.

I think there were only 2 or 3 seasons of this. It definitely didn't run to 1999. I personally thought it was a good show back in the day!

I liked this show, I especially liked how they would like teach a lesson at the end of each episode, say a quote.

This was the kids version of "Tales from the Crypt", only not as good. Meanwhile, "Tales from the Crypt" was mostly targeted at adults. I prefered that one a little more than this.
