i just thought i would fix some facts you had wrong i actually watched it as a kid
the land of the lost with the jeep was from land of the lost 2 in 1990 and here is the correct information on the land of the lost aired from 1974-1976
Rick Marshall is a park ranger who takes his two kids, Will and Holly, on a rafting trip down a river. During the trip, an earthquake occurs which somehow opens up a rift in time, propelling the Marshalls into a land populated by dinosaurs, ape-men, and the dreaded Sleestak. Later in the series, Rick manages to find his way home and is replaced by Uncle Jack (who had rafted down the same river looking for his family).
Wesley Eure played Will Marshall (43 episodes, 1974-1976)
Kathy Coleman played Holly Marshall (43 episodes, 1974-1976)
    Philip Paley played Cha-Ka (42 episodes, 1974-1976)
Spencer Milligan played Park Ranger Rick Marshall (30 episodes, 1974-1975)

    spyder88 Posted 5 years 3 months ago
i didn't grow up watching it,but i heard about this from my mother then one day like 20 years later after she told me about them i was finally able to watch them on sci-fi. they put them on to help launch the new film and they were put on dvd.i do however remember a newer series of the show i watched,i think it was in the late 80's or early 90's.i guess it isn't all that new now
BenJamin Posted 5 years 5 months ago
I was watching a marathon for this on Sci-fi last week. That was the first time I've seen more episodes because I've only seen five episodes that I have on VHS. It was bizarre as was every Sid and Marty Krofft show, but it was good.

    ellery84 Posted 5 years 9 months ago
I wish they would air this show. I grew up watching " Land of the Lost"
mulletrocker Posted 5 years 9 months ago
I see they are doing a Land of the Lost movie with Will Farrell. Do they have to take all the shows from the 70's and 80's and make crappy re-make movies? Not that Land of the Lost was the greatest of shows but still, come on!
chrisblazez Posted 5 years 9 months ago
This is the first show I remember watching. It was so cool but looking at it now it's so cheesy.
    will_mcloone1 Posted 5 years 11 months ago
I also spent a long time trying to remember what this show was called. I loved it though, yet another great show from the 90s.
    kallie23mn Posted 5 years 11 months ago
I Remember This. Coming Home One Day To Find It Not On & Never To Be On Again. Heart Broken Kid. LOL!

I just talked about this one on a dinosaur post some place. Watching the intro via youtube cracked me up. I remember thinking the dinosaurs were so realistic. Wow how perspective can change with hmm about 30 years YIKES

    isis1 Posted 6 years 8 months ago
ok...after many years the mystery solved...THIS was the show that had the creatures that scared the living c%$#! out of me. Thanks to the FAQ and pics at the site linked below things are much clearer now. ***wow*** though not as immediate i can still see why i was so terrified by the "sleestaks."

Good thing they have camping gear.
frankenstone Posted 7 years 7 months ago
In the 70's when I was little this was one of my favorite shows nut it really did scare me... A LOT. I see it now and the intro is super lo-tek. But the stories were good.
SummertmeBrews Posted 7 years 8 months ago
this show scared me when i was a kid (well the re-run of the first series in the early 80s), how cheesy were the special effects, it was like a sunday morning show you had nothing better to watch before church
krantzbucks Posted 7 years 8 months ago
You people cannot be serious about liking the remake better than the original "Land of the Lost". The scripts were so much better in the original that they could have used hand-puppets for the effects and it would have been better than the 90s abominable remake. You guys probably like "Munsters Today" better than "the Munsters" too.
    COSTARICAN80S Posted 7 years 8 months ago
LOVE THE REMAKE..THE SECOND INTRO WAS THE FIRST ONE THEY DID, BUT I NEVER WATCHED THAT ONE..THIS IS THE ONE I USE TO WATCH BACK IN 1992..BACK WHEN SONIC WAS AROUND. THE OLD CLASSIC SONIC..
Vickaronomie Posted 7 years 8 months ago
Oh never mind. Definitely intro number one, hahaha.
Vickaronomie Posted 7 years 8 months ago
I watched this all the time! Not sure which version I saw; everything in this intro looks so familiar though.
skyekt Posted 7 years 9 months ago
Yeah, the remake was soooo much better
    OldSchooler84 Posted 7 years 9 months ago
I saw the newer one. The old one scares me..
    devin_b Posted 7 years 9 months ago
Oh wait I guess the one I watched was the remake. Never saw the original. But from the intro, it doesn't look like they put a lot of effort in visual effects.
    devin_b Posted 7 years 9 months ago
I never really got into this show. And I use to think it was made somewhere in the 80s or early 90s.
Ligerzero Posted 7 years 9 months ago
Man this was one of my favorite shows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DarkIntellect Posted 7 years 9 months ago
Honestly, I really don't care what anybody says. The 90s remake of this show kicked ass. Oh, and I had a big crush on Jennifer too Kent.
    Crazy4Nostalgia Posted 8 years 4 months ago
I remember the opening. Never saw the show.
CanadianWeirdAlFan Posted 8 years 7 months ago
The intro with the raft was the one I remember watching. lol. On Family Guy, Peter sang it for an audition. :)
CanadianWeirdAlFan Posted 8 years 7 months ago
The into with the raft was the one I remember watching. lol. On Family Guy, Peter sang it for an audition. :)
    TV1985 Posted 8 years 9 months ago
The first intro listed is the intro from the 70s version of Land of the Lost. But the second one that is recently listed is the correct intro to this version of Land of the Lost from the 90s.
Strykor Posted 8 years 9 months ago
You have no Idea how happy you made me with this intro.
    TimCurryChick85 Posted 8 years 9 months ago
OMG Rhio2K your awesome! I've wanted to see this forever! This was my favorite show for the longest time! *Lisa*
    Rhio2k Posted 8 years 9 months ago
I'm gonna submit the correct intro tonight.
    kimsy520 Posted 8 years 11 months ago
    I loved the 90s version :D
browneyedgirl Posted 8 years 11 months ago
Much like everyone else, I never really liked the show but watched it anyway.
Benjo Posted 8 years 11 months ago
Yeah, I have to admit that I watched this show, but it was only because there wasn't anything better on. I feel like there was some kind of Monkey Boy or something in the 90s version, like a ape kid that hung out with the family. Can anyone confirm this, or am I thinking of something else?
    TV1985 Posted 8 years 11 months ago
The intro of Land of the Lost is from the 70's version. As far as I remember, the 90's version the intro sounded something like "What a World we found, deep underground. Living in the Land of the Lost" and "We open the door, found dinosours. Living in the Land of the Lost." I remember it well, because I watched it on Nick all the time.
CanaryYellow Posted 9 years 1 month ago
It was one of those that was so bad, you couldn't help but watch it.
Trashley Posted 9 years 2 months ago
This show was so strange...It was another one of those shows that I didn't really like at all, but I always remember watching it because I had nothing better to do I guess.
Vertex Posted 9 years 3 months ago
This show was a special effects dinamo...
