oh i also like the fact this was spider-MAN not spider- i'm a teenage kid with the hangups and crap we don't need or want to see- i was happy Jeremy McGuire was getting older, he was putting that student crap behind him and could have been that professors assistant doing cool stuff. back to the teenage angst again:(

I loved this show! i fell in love with spiderman because of it (it was my first exposure) and did a lot of pretending. I even wore my pyjamas under my cloths and crawled/ climbed everything i could!

The theme music makes it sound like "Spider-Porn".

I love this reimagining of Spider-man. Nicholas Hammond did an excellent job as the Web Head. He did a great job as Peter Parker as well.

I was three when this was on and I loved it.Later in life I saw a tape for it at Blockbusters so I grabbed it,watched and was like..."oh lord"...funny how things were great when you were kids but when you get to be adults are cheesy lol

Back then there hardly were any kick ass effects and it Was a low budget show..so to us kids..this show was the bomb!
You cant compare it to the Spiderman of today.
Btw, the lead actor..Nicholas Hammond, was one of the kids in the Sound of Music movie.

I know it does look corny, but back when I was a kid and this would come on tv man that was the shit. Especially being a hardcore spidey fan.

They used to air some of the episodes of "The Amazing Spider Man" live-action T.V. series on the Sci-Fi Channel. I know it's pretty old, but it was still pretty lame with how they portrayed Spidey and some of the other characters. Plus, they didn't even make him use web-slinging to swing from buildings! WHY?! Sure, it WAS the 70s, but they probably could've used some technique to make it possible, even if it DID look cheesy! The newer Spider-Man movies are so much better and more faithful to the comics!
