In one episode she goes to sit down on the bed and you totally can see a glimpse of her panties. It was a triumph of my childhood.

I just remember how some kid always came up a ladder to Clarissa's room. I then remember that one time he fell off that ladder and broke his leg.

I loved that show. I particularly liked the way Clarissa talked directly to the screen. (This is known in the TV industry as "breaking the fourth wall".) The episodes were a little weird at times, but in a good way. The issues discussed in the show even seemed relevant to my daily life. By the way, there is one episode where Clarissa hooks up a TV on her computer, because her mom enforced a "no TV" rule, and at the time, it seemed really outlandish. Well, now, you *can* watch TV on your computer.

My only gripe (and a very small one) was the platonic friendship between Clarissa and Sam, but now, I can understand that if there was no attraction between them, what could they do?

I enjoyed this show in the early 90's and continued to watch it on Noggin. But it is of course gone, like many of the great shows on Nickelodeon.

Yeah, Sam and th ladder was great. XD I remeber one ep where Clarissa and Ferguson were alone one rainy night, and they thought someone was climbing the window to break in, and they pushed the ladder off. And Ferguson said, "What if that was Sam?" XDD Funny stuff.

That was a good show. I remembered watching it on Nick until 1999, then Nick aired reruns of this show in 2001. And then when I got comcast in December 2002, I would switch to The N and they would show Clarissa. But then it was taken off the air in March 2003, a few months after In got comcast. O_O But now the first season is out on DVD Whoo-hoo!

Clarissa was everybody's best friend back in the early 90s. I can relate to Sam because I had a female best friend in Elementary School who was kind of like Clarissa.

It doesn't surprise me that Melissa Joan Hart would go on to be in another teen sitcom called Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

This show was boring to me. My older sister liked it though. I never really liked Melissa Joan Hart that much either.

I remember the first opening theme, I have no idea why it changed. Usually in reruns they just pick one opening sequence and go with it instead of using mulitple ones, I think.

i havent seen this show in a decade and man, i did not realize how annoying the theme song was back then. but i thought it was funny how the guitar twang always came on when sam's ladder hit the window. did those two ever get together? i didnt watch that show all too much.

This was the coolest show. She had a pet alligator, the coolest clothes, and a friend who would climb a ladder and come in through her window. I mean what show has all that? No shows now days that's for sure. I really miss this show.

My favorite episode was the one where her aunt from Canada I think?...comes and she pictures her as a witch and doesn't like her and stuff.

Yeah! I just picked up the first season on dvd yesterday. I wanted to get it just for nostalgic reasons, but it turns out most of the plots still apply to modern day trials and tribulations and is still an enjoyable series. Can’t pass this one up.
