All I remember was wanting to be like the cheerleader. I've notice that people sang a lot in the 80's. Why were we so damn musical? LOL

I had the Get-A-Long Gang Poster as a kid. When I was 5, this was the only gang I knew about. . . then I grew up hearing about gangs in school and on the streets . . . . they weren't the Get-A-Long's, I'll tell you that!

I used to wake up every Saturday morning to this show when PAX aired it in the late 90's. It's worthy of a revival!

I LOVED this show! I was a rollerqueen as a child. So of course my favorite characters were Dotti and Montgomery. My cousin Leah had the Dottie doll that rollerskated. I was so jealous.

Is it just me, or does the song get louder as the song progresses?

What I remember most about this show is that there was a tape we used to check out from the local video store on 99 cent days. We watched it so many times we nearly wore it out. The quality of the animation was much better than the show that was on TV, and there were songs throughout. I'm not sure if it was the pilot or a special, but I don't remember ever seeing it on TV. This show is supposed to be coming out on DVD soon, so maybe we'll all get to refresh our memories.

I don't think I ever saw the cartoons, but I remember my neighbor friend had the caboose with the plastic figures. I loved the little lamb and dog girl, I'd always play with them. ^^

I don't remember too much about the cartoon even though I did watch it. I have some of those books with a tape that you listen to..you remember? "You know it's time to turn the page when you hear the chimes ring like this." (Then you'd hear chimes).

    Very cute. :)

I remember having a few of the toys; they were like small plastic figures. Anyone else have these, or a link to some pics?

I had one of their cassette tapes...and i remember there was this bomb ass song at the end, i used to listen to it over and over again..."i get along you get along, he get along, she get along, they get along we get along, everybody gotta get along!!" when i become president thats gonna be the new pledge of alliegence.
