I think I was 4 or 5 when I saw this show. I don't remember anything about the show; I just remember the theme song. I thought Mr. Belvedere actually sang the theme song.

Mr Belvedere was the best. The theme is classic and the characters were pretty strong. Plus Belvedere was a star.

And for those interested fishandspaghetti.com recently crowned Mr. Belvedere as "TV's Finest Housekeeper." It was an all out tourney and Lynn Belvedere came out on top.

There was an episode I remember where the little kid had a hand puppet he made of Mr. Belvedere..he showed his butler what he had as he pretended the puppet sang "london bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down... london bridge is falling down because i stepped on it."

That is the only thing that has stuck in my head from this show. I laughed so hard when I saw it.

The theme song is sung by Leon Redbone.

I watched this from time to time. I like how he and the boy had some sort of love/hate relationship. The boy annoyed him or something. I remember in one eps. the boy came down the stairs with a giant picture of himself on a poster and said "look mr. belvedere, I blew myself up!" and he replied "well, that's one way of doing it..." hehe good times!

The one episode I remember was that the youngest son, (Wesley?) found out his friend was illiterate. It was one of those serious episodes.

Mr Belvedere had it :) He was much more useful than Geoffrey on Fresh Prince.

    He was the Butler

The theme song would drive me insane. I never quite understood his relationship with the family and why he got away with murder. Good ol’ 80’s
