I just found a Saturday Morning VHS tape I recorded back in '86/'87with a couple of Wildfire episodes on it. It was definitely a girl's show, but the portal travel was cool.

OMG, I can't even tell you how much I loved this show!!! It's so weird, because I don't remember anyone else watching it when I was younger..and then one day, recently, I was talking to my best friend of 20 years and found out that she loved the show too! She and I didn't grow up around each other, so it was so strange that she knew of it!

I loved this show, but unfortunately it came on at something like 5:30am where I lived, so I only rarely woke up early enough to watch it. I think I may have seen just a half dozen episodes or fewer.

It has one of my favorite opening theme songs, too. It's quite poignant. How many cartoon theme songs from past and present are actually poignant?

Man, I LOVED this show! I was SO disappointed when they took it off the air after barely a few episodes. The story was intriguing, the horses were really cool, and it was humorous. Every little girl in my school loved it! We never did understand why it got taken off the air. I still have my Wildfire lunchbox too.

I agree with you On. I thought I was the only one who watched this show. I was starting to belive it was something my friends and I made up. I can see how someone might confuse Megan and Sarah. The both had the same hair style pigtales.

Her name wasn't Megan, it was Sarah! Megan's from My Little Pony.
