I also used to watch this show every morningbefore heading out to elementry school (4th/5th or 6th grade...I believ it was 5th grade though). I even sent a drawing of MegaMan (2) to the show but it never got picked to be shown on tv sadly.
Darn it! This didn\'t start out as a gameshow... grr.... It used to be a cartoon with Johnny Arcade. It featured a few characters that I\'m not familiar with as far as names go, but it contained the hero and villain from Wizards & Warriors, some tomato guy with limbs, and a few other guys I wasn\'t totally familiar with. They cartoon had several adventures with Johnny aiding them from his bedroom if I remember correctly. Malkil (I think that was the bad guys name from W&W) always had a different form and the good guys always prevailed in the end like all cartoons in it\'s time. After the cartoon, Johnny Arcade gave game tips, codes, and cheats. It later turned into the gameshow that you all are talking about today.
