There were two different series the first series was produced by Ruby Spears and aired from 1980-82. For 25 episodes. This series is more common.

Loved this show since i was 4 and i had a crush on Cleo, she with Cheetara and Kit Mambo on Animalympics are the reasons i had a longtime fascination with catgirls and that i've been a furry fan since.

We only got 26 episodes on *DVD.* They aired the whole series. If you look around, they still do. In my area (Phoenix) it's on digital channel 3.2 @ 5am weekdays. I've got the DVD set, but I catch it in the mornings when I can, as they'll show stuff that's not in my box set.

There are also a few scattered DVDs around that have some episodes that weren't in the Shout! Factory set. Look around...

I first saw this show on a station out of indianapolis in 1984. It inspired me to write a story called Greystripe. In the story I had a cat from another city find himself helping Rifraf defeat Leroy the guard dog. I got favorable feedback and wrote at least 10 more Greystripe stories. I really love this cartoon

Yes, Riff-Raff did appear in several of the Heathcliff cartoons, but he never interacted with him. He always appeared in background shots. You can see him on the DVD in the background in the episode where Heathcliff fights Spike\'s cousin.

I liked this show, tho more for the catillac cats. Like the white one who always spoke in ryme and wore rollerskates, and of course Cleo. She\'s my girl!
