Perhaps I have seen the show when it was released in the US in the 1980s, but it was replayed in the UK back in the 1990s and I may have seen several episodes of the original Pound Puppies.

Recently there is a new version of the show of the same name, but the characters and environments were COMPLETELY DIFFERENT to the 20th Century original and that version from the 21st Century is designed entirely in High Definition compared to the original.

Out of the versions of Pound Puppies in existence, I liked the original version the best (especially the voice of Bright Eyes, who was played by Nancy Cartwright (who was also famous for lending her voice to Bart Simpson (or Bartholomew J Simpson, Esq. as I like to call him) from The Simpsons) that was featured).

I had the VHS tape \"Secret Agent Pup\" when I was little, as well as the movie (which is totally different from the series). It was all I ever saw of the Pound Puppies, but it was enough to make me love them:)

I didn\'t like the toys and never had one, but I watched this show religiously. I loved how at the end they had a \"PSA\" on different breeds of dogs and figuring out which ones would be best for you.

I remember the toys but not the show

Hey, does anybody remember a show or movie that used to be on about a big white dog and a little white dog.. they were always trying to cross the French/Spanish border?

I thought Cooler was so confident and smart and funny...always good for a 3-year-old to have a crush on a cartoon dog. XP This was my favorite tv show for years...I drew pictures, collected the toys and books, imagined video games and movies with epic plots...I was all about the Puppy Power, back in the day. :3

Never got into this show. I watched a couple of episodes and that was enough for me

There is a way to watch the Pound Puppies again. If you have the TV channel Boomerang from Cartoon network you can watch several of the cartoon shows from the 80s. Pound Puppies is just one show that you can watch.

I had a few dogs, and cats. The cats came fron Hardies back when they would do promotional stuffed animals. I collected them all! ^^

Although I don\'t remember the tv show too much (save for the snotty girl who refered to her mother as \'mommy dearest\';) I do remember a movie where cooler and the gang were in the 1950\'s (or dressed like it anyway) and they were looking for the exgaliber of the dog world. A crystal bone.

I always wanted a Pound Puppy, but at the same time didn\'t want one, ya know what I mean...so I settled for the show instead.

Never much cared for this show. I\'ve always considered it to be boring and crappy and the theme song sucks hard too!
