I have to agree to whoever said that the dub of this Anime is great. ADV did an excellent job dubbing this title, particularly in the casting of the children (yes, they actually USED kids!), the grown-ups and in the scripting. It's a shame that this dub is not better recognized; it is grossly underrated.
The show itself? I'm kinda mixed. The first eight episodes are fantastic, and the Nautilus episodes are just as intriguing. But it completely falls apart in eps 23-34. If those episodes were excised, this would have been much better.
Best way to watch the show: 1-22, 30, 31, and 35-39.
Never seen this show, but I can see why it inspired Disney\'s \"Atlantis: The Lost Empire\". The animation in this actually looks better compared to Disney\'s non-Pixar work.
