so glad I figured out the name of this show.

all i could remember was a song that went \"Alli and Wendy took a trip to Washington\". Been wondering what show this was since for like 18 years now.

    god bless retrojunk!

Vaaaaaaguely remember this show. The name is so familiar, though. I think the neighbor girls used to watch it a lot when we babysat them.

shows started with the kids talking to people on the street and then the intro song. Aired on Nickelodeon, but my tape said a copyright of MTV Network 1989. Starring Matt Brown (who is in the clip above), Alie Smith, and Wendy Douglas. The Don\'t Just Sit There Band: Mike Baldwin-drums, Chris Guice-bass, Ed Jahn-keyboards, Buxton Pryor-guitar. look for info/episodes above.

I still have a couple of episodes on tape. I don\'t remember Will Friedel on there, but I could be wrong. I\'ll take a look at the tapes and get back to all. There was the dude, Matt and a girl, Ali on the show. There was the Don\'t Just Sit There Band - Buck, Mike, Chris, and Ed. They also had a real band called Out of Order. I remember when Matt took Tina Yothers on a date to an automat. Ali hung with Candace Cameron and made spin art shirts. that\'s all for now.
