I did not care for Hoek & Stimpson back then I watched some of it like I remember living in Champlin MN in the mid to late 90s and in 1997 I woke up one morring to watch Bevis & butthead but what was on before them was R&S Happy Happy Joy Joy then they came on and I broke the Tv but my dad fixed it.

Ahh, and here it is, a dirty version of Looney Tunes(although I like real Looney Tunes better than this).This was the golden age of Nickelodeon. I miss this show and all the other old Nicktoons. Now all we have on Nick today it that stupid Sponge, Fanboy & Chum Chum, The Mighty B!, Back at The Barnyard and other shit.

One of my favorite shows of the 90s!!!! Loved it! Especially the earlier ones... two of my all time favorite episdoes was \"Sven Hoek\" and \"A Visit to Anthony\'s\" Loved them!! When they tried to bring them back in 03, I was completely disgusted and never made it through the first of those 3 episodes.

The Adult Party Cartoon episodes on Spike Tv/Tnn in 2002-04 sucked though.

I miss this show, yeah, it did have some potty jokes, but the animation and music were very good, and i liked the dark humor and surrealism of the show. I preferred the John Kricfalusi (Spumco) episodes, but I also enjoyed the Bob Camp (Games Animations/Nickelodeon) episodes.

this was a really good show till shit got out of hand and they wanted to make them gay it kept swithin from nickelodeon to mtv the show just ruined it self there at the end but at the beginning id say this show was really good

I loved this show so much, but I can understand why they took this off Nickelodeon. It is one of the better shows shown on the Nicktoons Network, however. It was requested so much that it had to be shown. I still watch episodes of this all the time.

Best cartoon ever made, along with The Simpsons (Seasons 1-, Every episode of the first 2 seasons of Ren and Stimpy is an animated masterpiece before Nickelodeon fired the creator John K. and totally turned the show into a piece of unfunny/uncreative garbage and ruined it. Sven Hoek!

This show is the best, I remember staying up till like 3:00 in the morning just to watch it on Nicktoons.

I never thought of R&S being gay until I got a boxed set with commentary by John K., I just loved the wierdness like Mr. Horse in rubber fetish gear and a fat woman\'s ass blazing like a re-entering heat shield in \"Fire Dogs\". Of course, I always thought the Rocky&Bullwinkle show was bent but after South Park, I no longer know ANYTHING!!!
And there was that irritating period of Beavis&Butthead to get over.....

Man did I love this show! i have a plush of stimpy. My mom hated this show too. If she was ever around and this was on she said i couldnt watch tv for a week. I got away with it at my grandma\'s house though.
