The one that has stuck in my memory was called It Must Be Love (because I feel so dumb). I have no other recollection of the movie other than a shy awkward boy falling in love with a girl in school. It probably happened when I was first noticing girls.

I loved this show and used to watch it right after school. Some of the episodes and subject matter was kind of radical but talk about getting an education on something. I remember watching episodes on booze, drugs, bullies, cheating, etc... They don't make quality programs like this anymore.

my sister told me she used to watch this every afternoon.

Wish they would bring these back, these shows were great, wonderful memories from my childhood, would get off the school bus, make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and relax with this show.

See that just show how much this networks don\'t care about children anymore. These afterschool specials were very informative and the sfternoon cartoons gave children something to look forward to before they go outside and play before dinner. Now its just sad.

My mum bought me a DVD when I was 9. She said she grew up watching it, I watched the DVD with like 2 episodes on it and I cried. i wish they would show more on TV like this, what they show now is crap. This stuff was heavy, but this was before Diffr\'nt Strokes man, this was when TV first dealt with the heavy stuff. I cried and was too young to handle it at the time, but looking back this show was so good. So... worthwhile

i also remember a late 70\'s or early 80\'s one with Helen Hunt as a drug addict. Most of them were designed to scare the crap out of you.

EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE WERE BOSS!!!! Hands down, ABC used to make the best shows back in the day. Afternoon specials was the thing to watch @ 4:30 (whenver they popped up) and even tho they were too realistic @ times, they sent honest msgs out to ppl who watched it..

We\'d never see anything like this on TV now... Damn shame. Instead of informing kids of things that can happen. They show them obsene reality shows...

    *** \'70\'s, \'80\'s, \'90\'s TV = TV at it\'s best ***

These were good imformative shows for my generation. Nick at night should bring them back or maybe ABC can make another series for the new generation. Of course Johnny won\'t be smoking pot now, he\'ll have a meth lab and Susie won\'t be accepting a ride from a stranger, she will be running from online preditors.

I always loved the anti-drug episodes, but one of these things that aired in the early 80\'s called \'One Too Many\' with Michelle Pfeiffer, Val Kilmer and Mare Winningham had a SERIOUSLY depressing ending. I remember kids coming to school the next day saying how upset it made them. It seems that adults determined to scare morality into people take a particular joy in traumatizing youngsters, don\'t they? Plus, Mare Winningham was the oldest looking teenager EVER, and that includes the Porky\'s movies.

The only time I ever watched this show was when my dumbass sisters would make me watch it. Some of these shows were pretty heavy for kids subjectwise and the funny thing is i was surfing the shocking videos website and actually found a couple of these movies in the made for TV section like I said before although pretty laughable now these shows did deal with some heavy subjects.
