One of my favorites I have great childhood memories of watching it and then pretending to be rainbow brite
I wanted a rainbow brite doll forever and my parents searched every flea market in the area until they got one for me..and then at some point I got rid of it..only to buy a new one years later...I feel like mr burns and his bear

This was the best cartoon of the 80s. The theme song of this wonderful cartoon was the best and made me cry.

My sister loved Rainbow Brite when she was little and I watched it too.

I remember a friend of my family had videos of Rainbow Brite which I remember watching and enjoying when I was younger which introduced my to this TV show.

This show was my favorite as a little girl. I had a Rainbow Brite doll and she had her sprite with her. This was a good wholsome show. Where good over came evil and there was no violence. Rainbow stopped the bad guys with rainbows and starsparkles.

This is and will be my ulitimate favorite...It was my childhood

Awesome...how many people know if this was actually a Japanese Animated Series dubbed in English? If you saw the movie...you\'d notice it was very Japanese influenced.

The most I had ever remembered from the show was the song during the closing credits. I do have a vague memory of seeing the breakfast cereal on my kitchen table at a very young age.

i remember this show very well. I\'m a guy, but i still loved this show. i\'m not real sure, but i don\'t think that\'s the full intro, is it? it\'s been one of those songs that have always stuck with me.

Oddly enough, I don\'t remember the show, yet i had the dolls, toys, books, records, ect of it...
Later I taped the movie off disney (back when they had free preview weeks) and I absolutly fell in love with it, watching it often. Now I have it on dvd and a rather no-so-legal bootleg of the shows. I still think rainbow\'s super cute to this day!

I always loved how each character was mainly one color, aww..that was so cool in \'80s cartoons so I could always love the Purple (my favorite color, ha ha my bedroom is purple even now) one could always be my favorite:

Donatello (Ninja Turtles), Share Bear (Care Bears), Brightheart Raccoon (Care Bears), Shy Violet (Rainbow Brite)

Why is it that the purple characters are usually the brainy ones?
