    I just bought a vol 1 on this cartoon. So this cartoon started in 1969? And ended in 1988? Help

        Oh yeah, I remember this show, I watched the spanish version when I was a child. I liked it. The show was educational, Cantinflas(Amigo)usually met with some historical character on the episode. Galileo, Aristoteles, Columbus, Dante are the ones I can remember right now...

          I watched this when I was a kid (spanish version). The main character (Amigo, who is a cartoon version of a very famous actor and comedian, Mario Moreno \"Cantinflas\";) was dubbed by a comedian named \"Flavio\" (artistic name).

            There is an ending for \"Amigo and Friends\" without the credits and a Hanna-Barbera swirling star, it has the \"V\" of Doom sitting there.
