I totally agree with Angel\'s comment up top...they NEED to make a channel for retro Nickelodeon. Nick At Nite needs that as well...Today\'s Special was my favorite show as a kid.

Not only did Jeff Hyslop play Phantom in Canada but Paul Stanley of KISS played him as well! Never got to see Jeff play him. Loved him when I was growing up! Can we say huge crush LOL!

Loved this show when me and my sister were growing up! Todays Nickelodeon is just not the same. They really should make one channel to play all the Retro-Nickelodeon. This way my kids do not think I am nuts when walking through the house singing the old songs LOL! I even remember the old Nickelodeon song LOL!

If my daughter stayed in the house all day watching shows like this...crap I might just join her.

Man I wish there were other episodes of Today\'s Special on here. I watched this for the whole seven years it aired on television. My brother and I loved it. I can remember my sister being scared of Sam and the letter people growing up. It is so facinating to see it again. I can\'t be Im see this . I feel old and I am only 26. lol

Just so everyone knows... YES Jeff Hyslop (the maniquin) did play Phantom of the Opera I am not sure if they toured the U.S. but i know they did canada. My mother bought tickets to see the production (with him in it) in Montreal Quebec, and the night before she was to go... Jeff was called to London England to do another Opera.

this show was kick ass,loved it,and when i talk about it most people think im nuts and dont remember it,but i also heard a rumour that he actually ended up being the guy that did phantom of the opera in all big plays ,does anyone know?its not important i just thought it was neat!
