Hi all! I used to watched this show when I was stuck in the country of Malaysia after I was kidnapped by my previous Business Manager (Ron P.) in 1972. I really liked the show and I got 2 pen-pals from it. One of them was actually a Senator\'s daughter from Missouri. This pen-pal later got some small roles in Hollywood movies. (She is now kinda fat after all these years.) However, I was looking for my brother/relative John Ford, who I think has big Hollywood studios connections. I returned to the U.S.A. but hasn\'t been able to find him. He looks like John Zonk in the previous post actually. Except his name was John Ford. --- My email is [email protected] if John Ford can read this and want to contact his missing blood relative, Gerald (Jerry) Ford.

Liked the show. Could only watch it on our PBS affiliate during the daytime. So the only time I caught it is when I staid home from school sick. Therefore, I\'m sure I missed a lot of episodes.

I\'m 44 years old and when I was in the 5th grade I wrote into The Big Blue Marble and I got my first pen pal. We wrote until we graduated High School in 1983 and we lost contact with each other. we used to write all the time, our birthdays were a day apart now 25 years later we reconnected thru classmates.com and I\'m going to meet her for the first time in August. Dawn lives in Vancouver Canada, I\'ve been looking for her for 25years and my mission is almost complete. I finally get to meet the person that brought joy to my childhood. Our journey started 33 years ago and it feels like we never missed a beat!!! Thank you Big Blue Marble for giving me a life long friend forever!!

I loved this show. I watched it and had a pen pal. These types of shows need to be put into place again in order for this country and others to promote understanding of others and their cultrue.
