I was a kid in the '70s and started watching this show because I was really into dinosaurs at the time. Then I fell in love with Holly.
Interesting fact that I just recently discovered: former Detroit Pistons star Bill Laimbeer appeared in a few episodes as a Sleestak!

Ahh, Sid and Marty Krofft. They made so many
    good Saturday morning TV shows.

If you happen to rent the DVD of LOTL the commentary
between Wesley Eure, (Will) Kathy Coleman (Holly)
and Phillip Paley (Cha-Ka) is hilarious!

Too bad Spencer Milligan (Rick Marshall) passed away.
And, they could not get Ron Harper (uncle Jack)
    for the DVD.

But, it is (for me at least) one of the best show\'s they
    did...

We have a contest sometimes just to remember some of the shows they did..
Dr Shrinker, Space Nuts, ElectroWoman and DinaGirl,
The Bugaloo\'s, H.R. Puffinstuff, Land of the Lost,

\"K\" racking the brain......If you think of more
    post them here.....

I like the introduction and the music. The ideology and set and storyline may be too innocent and archaic for today\'s standards. But it is innocent in its presentation. I wish they had run for a few more seasons.

The intro always freaked me out a bit, one of my first memories though. Just a weird show in itself, the crystal portal or something and the lil caveman guy or girl, ah well, seems like a blur... :P
