I been wanting to the opening clip when I first heard about it. Spider-man dosen\'t transform on the series. He put on his costume.

Back in the late 70\'s gaint fighting robots where a popular thing in Japan. In Japan they asked Marvel if Spiderman can have a gaint fighing robot in their version. Marvel agreed since it would increase viewings. Your right about the power rangers thing. Spider man would fight some sort of evil monster then the monster would grow big then spider man would summon his gaint fighing robot and defeat it.

LOL! WTF?! Since when could Spidey summon a large robot to help him fight evil? Maybe they should change the name to, \"The Mighty Morphin Spider-Ranger\"!
