One of my favorite shows as a kid. I never saw season 4 on USA however. Wow, I am glad I didn't. I just recently watched seasons 1-3 on Hulu and that totally rocked. Then I watched the first ep of season 4 but couldn't make it through the whole ep. Airwolf went down the crapper big time. Jan-Michael Vincent may have been a drunk but the guy who played his brother starting in season 4? What a square jawed doofus. And that obnoxious, ugly chick who played Dom's niece? Ugh. Where's Caitlin when you need her. They even borked the logo of the show. Way, to go USA. You couldn't just leave it alone, could you.

thats crazy..I was trying to remember the name of this show a couple days ago...I was watching that movie "wild wilderness" and the older pilot guy is in the movie..I was forced to watching this cause my dad was a helicopter mechanic for the air force..so you can guess that my dad took a special liking to this show..but I thought it was cool too..

I think if K.I.T.T. were a helicopter, this would definitly be it. I miss this show!

getting cable back in the day, and having to press this woodin finish small box, which was cable, 12 buttons at lease..... a button for the USA channel for AIRWOLF, great show and a bad ass intro for the eightese. As a kid I remember watching the show and drawing the airwolf in elementry.

The show had a competitor called "Blue Thunder", but it seems that it's been long forgotten.

Airwolf was one of the greatest shows of the 1980s. Movie-level production values, and that wonderful soundtrack, which by the way holds the World Record as the "Most Expensive TV Soundtrack of all time", 'AIRWOLF THEMES 2CD' changing hands on eBay for between $400 - $765 a pop for the Limited Edition 2CD set (which I own)... and is my most-played score I must admit; the production values emulate the show itself. Wish all soundtracks were as good as this one.

I never really had a chance to watch the show because my parents hated Jan-Michael Vincent. However, they sometimes at least allowed me to watch the opening theme before changing the channel. The opening theme was fairly basic, but was awesome!
