I loved this show when I was a kid and I recently watched the first 30 episodes thanks to youtube. As a kid I watched the Canadian dub of this sow which was better than the U.S version and it had an extra part at the end where Astro would recap the episode on a computer of some sort which was cool and not in the U.S version. the voice overs were much better in the Canadian dub. I used to watch this on ITV which is now known as Global.The lost Canadian version i cannot seem to find anywhere on the net, which is disapointing.

i have the 80\'s version (not the long lost canadian dubs ) and the 2003- which is good but you have to look into it with fresh eyes and forget the rest.

This show was the very first thing i ever watched on tv when I was a toddler lol... I remember bawling my little eyes out whenever he flew because I thought his feet were burning lmao... so needless to say I never really got very far into an episode... Years later I watched it on Boomerang and loved it..(except for the crap timing with the dubbing of course) I heard that there is a different ending in the japanese version can anyone out there tell me what that is?

has anyone see the short lived remake modern version of astro boy. not sure about the story line, but holy freaking smokes, the quality of animation is on par with feature length movies.
