you don't know what death is
HellScorpion Posted 4 years 2 months ago
A memorable film, but this just must have been hell for comedian Mike Myers, I mean people must have joked about him and killer Mike having the same name (aside from the middle name).

I saw this an hour ago on VHS and it wasn't that scary.

However my mom is really scared of this film!
omahanebraska Posted 4 years 9 months ago
I remember the first time I saw this film. Was unable to sleep in my room by myself for the LONGEST time. Sister and I ended up just sharing a room \'cause we were both freaked out lol!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this movie!!!! It still gives me chills even though I have seen it a million times and know what is going to happen!! Total Classic!!

John Carpenters breakout and my most favorite film of his the one and only Halloween. I think this movie came around at the right time of 1978. You know it really did set the stage for Friday the 13th if you ask me. if there was no Halloween no slasher craze I praise this movie and John Carpenter he rocks!!

stpaulgangster Posted 6 years 3 months ago
on movieweb.com type in Halloween it find a these movies but there is a Halloween Sequal (2009). I think it will be a sequal \"da\" to the 2007 remake without Rob Zombie.

I remember when I finally got to see this movie. It scared me half to death. The musical score when ever Micheal apears just adds to the the mood. My only beef with the franchise was the 3rd movie which had nothing to do with Micheal or the family. can you say \"riding the coattail\"? I knew you could. Of corse of all the movies the first and least bloody is the best.

Saw this on AMC. Quite a slow pace but the music and when Michael tries to kill Laurie really pay off! Carpenter shows why he\'s one of my favorite filmmakers.
    80sangel Posted 7 years 2 months ago
I watche this one after I watched H2O: Holloween 20 years later. This one was scary and was one of the only ones from the Holloween movies that I liked.
    InuLuver12 Posted 7 years 2 months ago
i saw the new version of \"Halloween\" by Rob Zombie, it was great! Although, the old ones are ALWAYS the best!
    statman99 Posted 7 years 4 months ago
    ...it was the Boogeyman....
    smi11y Posted 7 years 5 months ago
can t wait for rob zombie\'s remake....
although i will always love the original
Nostalgiascape Posted 7 years 6 months ago
The soundtrack mad the film scary. The movie was screen tested before an audience before the soundtrack was even made and they came out bored. So John Carpenter set his fingers to keyboard and the rest is history.
killjoy Posted 7 years 6 months ago
Watched it for the first time when I was nine.It became my favorite all time movie than and still is.The best thing I ever saw that creeped me out...I mean come on the damn soundtrack creaped me out.How cool is that?
Pokeysteve Posted 7 years 6 months ago
I saw the trailer for the new one when it was online for a couple days and it looks REALLY good.
Nostalgiascape Posted 7 years 9 months ago
And now, much to my dismay, I hear that Rob Zombies film is a go set to release Summer 07\'.
Nostalgiascape Posted 7 years 11 months ago
I hear now that the Rob Zombie project is dead in the water.
Owepar Posted 8 years 3 months ago
pancho420, yes, the Michael Myers mask was actually a William Shatner \"Star Trek\" mask, which they washed the features out of and added the fluffy hair to. Funny that William Shatner is one of the most iconic screen villains of all time...
    pancho420 Posted 8 years 3 months ago
Did hear about the remake with Rob Zombie. That may be hit or miss,as with all remakes.
    pancho420 Posted 8 years 3 months ago
Is it true that the mask of Michael Meyers is really a mask of William Shatner?I heard that once and was wondering if any of you heard that too? Urban ledgend maybe? Not sure.
St. Jimmy Posted 8 years 5 months ago
Rob Zombie is making a remake of Halloween!!!!! Not a rumor, actual fact, he appeared on Leno and said so himself.
    kjb101791 Posted 8 years 9 months ago

shorty spice Posted 9 years 1 month ago
After all these years still one of the best horror movies. It works on the whole \"less is more\" theme. Watching it still creeps me out.
    mrs.link Posted 9 years 1 month ago

Trashley Posted 9 years 3 months ago

    DarkwingDuck4ever Posted 9 years 3 months ago

Michael Myers rules. Good play by Jamie Lee Curtis
