I love the music at the end, with the Mother Ship!

I remember the mashed potatoes. If I were his wife I would have left him too.

I want to see Steven Spielberg do another alien movie. One that is just as exciting as E.T. Nothing against War of the Worlds, but I want to see one that is just heartwarming as E.T. was.

Even as the years have gone by and dozens of great sci-fi movies have been made since this stands almost entirely on it\'s own becuase the characters are so strong and memorable and the special effects are sort of icing on the cake.That\'s what puts Spielberg in a different league.

The part I remember the best about this movie is when he plays with his mashed taters building this mountain for ET to land on.
