      Also, I prefer this movie to the overrated boring 1939 "classic". MJ is the cutest scarecrow ever, Diana Ross's version of Dorothy is more interesting than Judy Garland's, and the music is better.

            As if scarecrows weren\'t traumatic enough to young children -- what with \"Children of the Corn\" and \"Jeepers Creepers\" -- here\'s accused child molestor Michael Jackson as a nelly scarecrow. Good, wholesome family entertainment!

            Seriously, this version has it\'s own merits and flaws, but it\'ll never be as beloved as the 1939 \"Wizard of OZ\" and it\'s not as good as the dark \"Return to Oz.\"
